PROSPECTS - Stumblin (Digital)

£4.00

STUMBLIN IS...
A distorted drug trip. Fear and Loathing in Portsmouth drenched in colour, wonder and disgust in equal measure. Lyrics chronicle a rapid collision of chemicals and frantic thought over musical peaks and troughs combined into an audible bender with a linear feel from beginning to conclusion. The rush upwards of opening banger and title track ‘Stumblin’ crash-lands the project on musical ground that stays in flux. Motown-esque samples and lowkey funk phase between murkier territory before arriving on the infinitely smooth grooves underpinning the jaded warning of final track ‘Danger’.

The debut EP for Portsmouth wrong-uns, Lebbs and Apps. The lyrical construction is nuts. Stumblin demonstrates exactly why the pair are already catching ratings all over the UK scene.
